Thursday, May 24, also at the 4H in Asheville from 6:30 to 8:30PM the Robotics Opportunity Committee is hosting an “I want to start a FIRST Robot Team” meeting. This is oriented to folks who are interested in learning what it takes to start (or continue), fund, run and succeed with a FIRST Robotics team — from elementary to high school, whether JFLL, FLL, FTC or FRC. Representatives from local teams, FIRST and the community will be present to answer questions. You will also learn about educational, team support, funding and other important resources that make your job easier!
